 Work Experience

Watchmen: Tales of the Black Freighter (animated) at Warner Bros/ReelFX; April – May 2008; — Concept Art Tales of the Black Freighter (featuring the voice of 300's Gerard Butler) brings to life Watchmen’s story-within-a-story about a ship captain and his escape from a deserted island after being attacked by pirates.

newuniversal: 1959 at Marvel Comics; 2008; — Pencils, inks 1959 is the dawn of the new age of superheroics—the so-called “Fireworks” have granted superhuman powers to three Americans, and set the world on a collision-course with destiny.

The Foundation at BOOM! Studios; 2007; — Creator, plot, character designs, logo design Nostradamus’ books of foreshadowing made him a very rich man. He used his riches to create a secret team called The Foundation to try and prevent his horrible prophecies from happening.

Pulp Tales: The Crescent Flame at BOOM! Studios; 2008; — Creator, writer, character designs, pencils, inks, colors A photographer accidentally discovers The Crescent Flame’s secret identity and they join forces to find an arsonist murderer.

Pretty, Baby, Machine at Image Comics; 2008; — Character designs, pencils, inks, cover, logo design Pretty Boy Floyd, Baby Face Nelson and Machine Gun Kelly end up, by chance, at the same watering hole on the worst day of each of their lives. They set out for revenge against the man that set them up.

Punks: The Comic at DW Press; 2007; — Co-creator, character designs, photo collage, cover, logo and book design With art reminiscent of punk rock show flyers and a surrealistic humor that will appeal to fans of both SouthPark and Monty Python, Punks is a comic done entirely in the collage style of punk rock flyers.

Beowulf at Harper Collins; 2007; — Character designs, pencils, inks, colors, cover, logo and book design The earliest known epic work in English is retold for young readers in this new 96 page graphic novel. Beowulf tells a tale of heroism in the face of a wild and unknowable evil.

TAG at BOOM! Studios; 2006; — Character designs, pencils, inks, colors, cover, logo and book design A creepy tale in which an average joe is tagged and literally begins to die. He must look into his past and find the next victim to TAG before he decomposes.

30 Days of Night: Bloodsucker Tales at IDW Publishing; 2004 - 2005; — Character designs, pencils, inks, colors Part four in the popular vampire series focuses on “Dead Billy” and his quest to return to his one true love.

50 Caliber Studios; 1997 - 2004; — Owner, senior art director, designer, illustrator, writer, photographer Freelance graphic design and advertising specializing in print and web. Notable client work includes United Way, University of Louisiana, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana, Grinder: Creative Arts Expo.
